This component set includes a crossover that is only designed to filter out frequencies that the midrange and tweeter do not reproduce; it does NOT prevent them from burning out if they are fed with distortion, excessive power, or excessive frequencies that the driver or midrange cannot reproduce. If you find that the driver or midrange is not producing sound, it is because the driver's diaphragm or the midrange's voice coil has burned out, which is not covered by warranty or return policy. If this happens, you simply need to replace the driver's diaphragm or the midrange's voice coil, and it will be like new again.
